Avondale United Methodist Church, a vibrant and growing congregation in Jacksonville, Fl, seeks a Minister of Students to direct its youth program. We are searching for a person with passion for outreach and growth among the students of our church and the wider community. We are blessed with a strong core of committed students who love their youth group and want to see it flourish and bless the community. Responsibilities include: outreach and relationship building to the youth of our congregation as well as outreach to the youth of the community, fostering their spiritual growth and passion for Jesus Christ, energizing and inspiring the involvement of the lay people of the church for ministry with the youth, and developing large and small group ministries as they are needed. Assistant Director of Student Ministries

First United Methodist Church in Ocala, FL is seeking to grow its student ministry team by adding a part time assistant director of student ministries for high school. We minister to over 250 students, with 2 praise bands,committed student and adult leadership, a great new youth building, awsome staff, and a passion for reaching students for Jesus Christ. This position will work under the direction of the director of youth ministries and requires an undergraduate degree in a related field and 2-3 years of experience in youth ministry. Applicants should be passionate about youth ministry and posses strong leadership, organizational, management, and interpersonal relationship skills. The primary responsibilities of the position will be to oversee the high school program consisting of 60 students including the planning of programming and curriculum, special events, mission trips, retreats, special projects, fundraising and the like. Student Director

Student Director
Lake Gibson United Methodist Church in Lakeland, Florida is searching for a Director of Youth Ministries who is passionate about developing an exciting program focused on building strong spiritual growth, evangelism, community outreach and leadership in youth ages 12 through 18 years.

Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three years experience in church based youth programs. Those interested should be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, expertise in audio/visual technologies, website management and student leadership.
